The 6th of August was a great day. We got to meet another RTH'er - drocknut, Diane. Diane and Jo (NatureNut) came to our home to do some wrapping and talking and having a good time. Diane getting ready Jo getting ready The teacher Jo showing us neat things Angie trying to get attention Then the door bell rings and a friend Dick Daniels was at the door to visit. I think that Dick liked Jo's wraps - she does a real nice job. Then Dick brought some of the things he made to show Jo and Diane. I think that Jo will show what Dick gave her in a separate thread. Angie got tired and decided to crash under the table. This was a very fun day for all. We learned a lot from Jo, she is a great teacher. Good friends last forever, good times come to an end and the time to say good evening has come. This has been a great week, thank you Jo & Bill for the sapphire panning and Jo for the wraps we will take pics and post them. Thanks Diane for the rocks and wrap we will pic and post it also. To great friends Thanks. Thanks for looking. Debby & Tom

You are so welcome and thank YOU BOTH for spending time with us and showing us such wonderful aspects of Montana. Tom! You had to post my Forrest Gump pic, didn't you! LOL Well, I promised Diane I wouldn't post her Forrest Gump pic, and won't. I'm working to upload pics now and will be posting momentarily....

We had a great time in Tom's rockin' workshop. Angie really liked that Tom keeps an open box of dog biscuits in there. Tom and Debby have great rocks. This one is called "The Shark Rock" and his boys used to take it into the bath tub with them when they were little. Here are some purple garnets (forgot the name) he's been working on. We loved looking at Tom and Debby's perfect tumbles and beautiful wraps. It was like spending a day with Santa Claus. (this is Tom's Santa smile) What was really cool was that we each have different wrapping style and we had the chance to learn from eachother, appreciating one another's skills and style. The table was covered with beautiful shiny rocks, perfect cabs, wire, tools and wraps. Here are three of the wraps we did. Diane's on left and my two. Somehow missed Tom's . Tom and Debby's friend Dick wasn't our only visitor, we had another group of visitors. I didn't know that Halloween was celebrated early in Montana. Tom and Debby loaded us up with all kinds of stuff. Here is a cab- see the rider on horseback in the hills? He also gave me a local rockhounding book. (thank you!) Angie was a happy doggie, Tom would rub her ears and had her mesmerized. Diane got hugs and kisses. It was a wonderful day. Tom, Debby, Diane- Thank You for a wonderful day! Yes, it was a wonderful day. I really enjoyed meeting you all and had a blast. Jo, you forgot to mention we were up until after 11pm wrapping and talking. I didn't take many pics but will try to get them posted soon, can't be left out of the picture posting now can I? LOL Dick was such a neat guy and I'm glad to have met him. His wraps were so innovative and cool. I didn't get any pictures of them, mostly because I was busy talking lol. That Angie is such a good dog, so sweet and laid back. She and Tom had something special going on for sure . Glad I got some hugs and kisses from her. I didn't get to meet Penny but I'll bet she is sweet too. Deb and Tom you two are so great. I enjoyed the talking and wrapping with you. Tom, your tumbled stones are so awesome! I got some great rocks from Tom and Jo along with wire wrapping tips and different techniques. It was like spending a day with Santa and his happy band of "elves"...lol. Jo, you had to post pics of my "best" side didn't ya? At least it's not a Forrest Gump pic ;-) It is so great meeting other RTH'ers. Hope to meet more of you some day. Sheri, I'll be back in Arizona some day, Montana isn't tired of me yet...LOL

Have to add some photos on here too, don't want to be left out ya know...lol Tom in his rock workshop - sorry you are blurry. Jo showing Deb her wrapping skills The Boo Boo cabin. I stayed in a camping cabin at an RV park in Missoula because it is less expensive than a motel. It was called the "Boo boo" cabin since the park is the Jellystone RV park (Yogi Bear theme). me in front of the Boo Boo cabin - see the picture of Boo Boo and the name sign to the left of me? It was sure a wrapping good time and I was privileged to have been part of it.

This day was a wonderful day. We were glad that Dick came over. Jo, we did not see Forrest Gump at our house, unless you had him in your pocket, or did Diane had him in her pocket. Angie was trained to wiggle her tail on command and made a friend who scratched her ears. Talking to Diane and Jo and watching different ways of wire wrapping was interesting and fun. We are glad you liked all the tumbled stones. We did get my tumblers reloaded and running. Have a safe trip Jo and Bill and come back if you stray this way again. We will take you prospecting in the first place gold was found in Montana. Thank you again for a wonderful day. Debby & Tom

Prospecting!!! Oh no, we might just have to have another problem that keeps us in the area a while longer... LOL.
Diane, love the pic of you in front of Boo-Boo cabin. You said you'd do it and it turned out great!
You're all just a bunch of wonderful nutty rock friends and we loves ya!
