Ralph and i left a casino on the Ute Reservation and headed toward the Four Corners... Well a good storm started as we left. Sometimes when you hear banging on the side of your motor home you really should stop and look......... ;D People that were passing us, were pointing , well we didn't know what the heck they were trying to tell us until i looked in the side mirror...... this is what i saw. With no where to stop we had to drive in the storm with the awning banging like crazy...... Yep time for a new one. We did find a place to pull over, but the damage was done by then. With the storm passing somewhat we made it to the four corners But when we got there at 6:45 the gate was closed to go in. ( they were open until 7:00) There was this guy that was also wanted to go in, so he told me...... Follow Me !!!!!!! He pushed the gate open and we went in.. lol The lady who takes the money, told us make it quick and let us in for free. Of course it was still raining.. lol Well here we are....... in the rain. As we left there a beautiful rainbow came out. And finally my last pictures of the Arizona sunset. ty all for looking at our trip. mary ann

Haha, funny how those things can happen. You can be the most careful and conscientious of RVers, and things like that can pop up (or out) at any moment of any day. Good to see you made it safely and still smiling! The four corners are so cool and that rainbow is spectacular! Thanks for taking us along. Jo

Cool trip Maryann! The monument is a representation, just as many others are so it is fine! Looks like the sun came out right as you took some pictures and I love that rainbow! Good luck with getting your awning fixed! Fran

Ah, what a wonderful gift with the rainbow at the end. That was truly a blessing to get in and see the monument. Now you can take the time to replace the awning and start on another beautiful outing. Look forward to pictures of your next excursion.
Thanks for Sharing, Tanya

Maryann! You guys are too funny! You probably thought it was Ralph's hand cuffs banging on the side of the motor home, you captured some great pics though!
BE CAREFUL YOU TWO!!!!

Did anyone notice that the rainbow looks like it's over the port-a-potties? Maybe that's where the pot of gold is....LOL.
