I am looking for a new lortone 12" saw. Can anyone recommend the cheapest source for this ?
I'd also consider a used one if it was close enough for pick-up .
THANKS! Rodney

$1,190.00 in the Kingsley North catalog. In the 2008 Lortone catalog they were $1,250.00 Don

yeah, I saw the $1,190.00 but then there's shipping too....... I was hoping someone might could beat'em on that price. A friend of mine got one for $980 the other day and that included shipping! It was brand new in the box but had a small dent in the top hood. This just got me to thinking I should look around before I got one from Kingsley North ( their prices ARE hard to beat ).
Thanks! Rodney

There's a 12" Lortone on ebay right now. Whoops, I see that it ended. It went for $811 plus $120 shipping. That's pretty steep for used. I bought one once for $150, but that'll never happen again.

I bought a workforce here off the board Monday and I bought a new 12" lortone from Kingsley North today. That puts me good on saws unless a deal comes up close enough for pick-up on an 18".
