Just a couple more pictures before I have to head on out and turn tail I can't believe it's over, I can't believe it's through. I can't believe it's over, I fell in love with you ... My Pictures may fade over time, but my memories will remain clear for the remainder of my days ...It may not be your dream destination, but it's a darn sight better than what I've seen before. 'When the floor is full please use the bins provided' - Typical witty prose that you often see near waste bins. It's a shame this country seems to take some things so literally ... Oh my goodness, just what does this coach driver supply to Jesus as part of his Contract? I took this picture with visions of loads of New Angels being delivered. I hope his driving is better than my visions... ... Do not Cry because you are leaving. Smile Because you were There ...

Perhaps Nepal or Bangladesh? Seeking serendipity in Sri Lanka?

I realise I'm not painting India at it's best, but I'm not selling holidays either so nothing it being airbrushed out. I'm just showing you pictures of real life in India, I'll leave the air brushing to the holiday brochures and documentary channels. I remember having a conversation with someone, and complimenting them on the cleanliness of their rail networks - I think these next pictures will underline my comments to them. Notice just how close the housing is to the rails. And one of my pet hates - Litter And last on the subject of the India State Railways, here is a second class carrage. The only difference between 1st and 2nd class is 1st has 1/2" of foam on the seats Take care folks next report will be in ? days. Ciao !!

They skip this in the "Incredible India" promo on Discovery, but what you pictured is not a bit less incredible.
