I've been trying to do some different things than in the recent past. Being new to this, I was starting to get the hang of one simple style, and so thought it time to move on. For me, it is just a stepped process... learn from mistakes, incorporate what works, and add to it. Anyway, this is still relatively simple, but for now is part of my slow progression. Bill

Sometimes simple is better. I love the stone, and other than tightening up the wrap a bit on the sides, I think that is marvelous too. Great work.

I agree with Steve. Very elegant. It doesn't have to be complicated to be good. I love that stone too. It is definately rolling hills, with trees even. When I saw that I said WOW immediatly. The wrap is great, the bail is perfect and you have your own style on those perfect swirlies. Nice job!

I think you did a great job of complimenting the stone with just the right amount of flair. It went into my "keep" file.

Although I am impressed by the complicated wraps, I prefer the simple ones. Beautiful, Bill!!!

You know, I would normally not like the wires across a beautiful scene as you have with that rolling hills dolomite but it really works with this one! You did a great job! Fran

Thanks guys and gals. Hi Fran. I know what you mean. I did this one last Monday, and it covers even more of the rock. I think the wrap looks ok, but it does distract from the rock... and of course the rock is the whole idea! Hmmm... perhaps wraps like this are better suited for solid colored rocks? Bill

That one s beautifully done also. But, yeah, I would put that one on a solid colored rock.
