There is a good dig coming up the 25th -26th in Marion, Ky for flourite. Do a search for the Ben E. Clement museum to find the particulars for it. Ken

Hi welcome! Not much around other than chert(flint) and geodes. I'm in Cincinnati so we are somewhat neighbors. Kentucky agate can be found in the area south east of Lexington not something you would want to tumble though to pricey for that. Ohio flint is just east of Columbus at the Flint Ridge state park area(hunting is done on private land pay to dig fees apply in most cases) and is very popular on here for tumbling and cabbing. Fossils are everywhere as you must know. In Indiana they have a fossil dig at the Falls of the Ohio SP it should be coming up this fall. clarksvilleindiana.travel/events/id/E0-001-033633375-8/Clark+FestivalI found this on the fossil dig there was one listed for this past weekend on the state parks web site so the dig may be over. This a link to the museum at the falls. www.fossilmuseum.net/Fossil_Sites/FallsOhio.htm I have never been, looks like a great place may try to get to the Oct.2 fossil fest. George
