Wanted to do something chunky! So I used these rhodonite nuggets & a black rock that I split in half & tumbled. Didn't take much of a shine but that's ok because I really didn't want a shiny stone. I wrapped it with sterling & used some black glass beads. The shiny beads on the wrap pick up the shine of the glass beads in between the rhodonite nuggets. Tell me what you think, please! Thanks...............Donnie

Matte black is the new chrome. I love it, Donnie!

Very, very cool! I like your imaginative use of the beads, and the idea of using the un-shiney stone is neat.

I think that is real nice- the color combination works well and yes matte black is the new chrome Hopefully that means matte finish onyx will be easier to find.

I think it turned out very nice, and I actually like the matt or satin finish on the main stone.

It's beautiful and also functional. If anyone ever tries to car jack you, simply pull that out and whip the snot out of them with it...lol... nice work!

Thank you all! Robin, that would put a hurtin' on someone, too! It is kind of heavy & hard!

I like it. It goes well with the rhodonite beads. And the black beads and silver swirls set it off perfectly. Ken
