I have been a bit under the weather and haven't been able to get out there and sort rocks the way I had planned. However, I did find a small box of Labradorite/Spectrolite small slabs, end pieces -- cutting scrap really, but you should be able to get a few cabs out of it. A very difficult material to photograph but I'll give it a shot. I now have enough Rose Quartz tumbled stones, still looking for a nice red/orange type Crazy Lace Agate cab, or just suggest something that you have to swap. I don't need to get a box back the same size, as I'm still far behind on my project of clearing space. That is a six inch ruler in the photo, so you can judge size. I tried to pick out a couple of pieces to show the fire, it's going to be mostly blue fire in this parcel-- an end piece, a tiny but colorful piece, a larger piece that has waste on it -- just as examples. I have a large page telling about my labradorite peachfront.diaryland.com/labradorsp.html but if you don't want to read it, the most important thing to remember about labradorite is that there is always waste because the entire rock might not have fire, it has to be oriented, there's cleavage, etc. So you might want to plan on making smaller cabs from these scraps.

Quick update: I probably have a swap, so I'll close this for now. Don't worry, I should have a lot more...not sure when I can get it photographed, but eventually...
