Just wanted to share... Here in SE Utah I ran into a source for Gem Grade Dino Bone and Coprolite. I bought his smallest piece of bone and one slice of poo. The bone seems to be good quality. I haven't polished it yet, but will certainly show what it looks like when I do. As far as I could research, the price is around the avg price for Gembone. The Outside The Inside Inside Close Up Here is the slice of Coprolite. It is about an inch thick and weighs about a pound. There are some pits and fractures showing, but I think I'm going to keep this slice as a specimen. Here are both slides of the slice. They also threw in a piece of orangey pet wood and this. Anyone know what it is. Someone suggested Montezuma (jasper? Agate?) Well... how did I do? If anyone is interested in contacting this source to buy or just to talk, PM me and I'll give you their info. Regardless, I'm thrilled with them, even if I never polish them. Thanks for looking... Jo

You did good Jo. I'd love to get ahold of a nice piece of gem dino bone. I only have 2 slabs left. Kids love pendants and bolas made of dino poo. I've made many a kid happy with a present of that stuff.

Very nice stuff. I like the potential that the bone is showing.
