I'm 85 miles north of the equator, the average day time temperature is 32oC and 24oC at night. Humidity is around 70%. I had a fight with an Elephant and a Tiger, the Tiger won! Here are a few photos as starters, I'll up date as things progress. (N.B. If anyone has any doubts - I'm the smaller skinny guy on the far right in the photo :nono: :nono: :nono: )

That looks like Tibet but then I don't know too much. The pictures are terrific. That is the biggest Budda I have seen. Thanks for taking us along.

I'll guess either Thailand or Malaysia. I've seen similar things in Penang, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The third eye in the statue in the second pic shows influence from india, so most likely somewhere in Malaysia.

my guess would have been Tibet also . with out a map . wow , you are bicycling across Europe and Asia and i'm to lazy to search on the internet which i'm already on to follow your clues . oops , i gotta go . my wife just said that the pierogies are almost done . haha !! gotta fatten up for winter . --paul

That tower in the 2nd pic looks like leaned to right a bit, but it is probably just an ilusion.
