Tim doesn't live too far from us and a couple weeks ago he took home a rough piece of priday moss thunder egg....... Look what he brought back. He makes these spheres in all a sizes, although this one is just under 40mm. Its so beautiful i couldn't believe my eyes. The depth is unreal. He's a good friend and talented. It was so hard to get a real good picture. Thank you Tim very much, ralph and mary ann

Wow, wonder how much he'd charge? I have spheres all over my office and lots of rough that would make a great sphere... thats really one of the nicest I've seen.

That is one excellent sphere. I have seen a lot but never one with such depth. Great job. I agree how much would he charge to make one.

That's a beauty all right. Can't wait until I can afford a big sphere machine.

Awesome. Are there any pits in it? I would expect them in that type of material, but the pics don't seem to show it (at least not on my phone).

Hi Ralph and Maryann,
I am glad that you like the sphere so much, I would also like to thank everyone for their kind words on the sphere.
Take care,

Nice work Tim, it's gorgeous! I've done one sphere (sorta by hand), and really enjoyed doing it.

That is really really cool. I've made lots of spheres from wood but never one from rock. Wasn't even interested in doing. Now I have to rethink that.
