Looking great - couldn't imagine sticking them in my ears, but looks like you found a great little niche. Do you just sell through your own site, or do you market to the "alternative" jewelry crowd? Meaning do you sell your stuff on other sites, stores, etc... I imagine you could make a killing with this stuff.

I sure do love that stones. Wish they were cabs but I realize they probably sell quite well to the right crowd. You do awesome work and pick some great stones

Hi Toad, Ha ha, I'm not exactly making a killing but I've sold quiet a few in my first month and its picking up. I just put them on my web site now. I stocked three local tattoo shops this summer but found that wasn't cost effective, to few sales for the work. As for marketing I've posted a few pictures in different tattoo/piercing forums to help get my name out. The forums were great because I got some good advice on small changes to make my ok plugs into something respectable.

Do you have/make any really small ones? Thing most people here might not know is that a regular pierced ear easily turns into a stretched ear by just putting a tiny bit bigger earring at a time with no pain at all just takes a real long time for the ear to become stretched until you put a bigger size in ... Of course there are people who rush it and have them stretched immediatly with a taper and if done wrong will never close unless cut and sewn and rip or bleed when that is done ...(ME)...My point is that you can wear one of these that are not HUGE !!! just a little bit bigger than a regular gaudy earring(lol) ...Anyways ..after seeing these and since mine has never closed after 9 years Iam tempted to buy a small one and rock it !!!!!!

Those are really pretty, esp the Mex Lace, but pretty or not, I'm not puttin' anything that big in my earlobes! LOL I do know a couple of folks that would though and would be jealous that their plugs aren't that pretty.

I've made some tiny 10 gauge ones and they are much harder than the medium sized plugs. They grind off your fingertips. The big ones are hard only because it's hard to find nice solid rough that's fracture free and has a matching pattern for two plugs. Here are some big ones for a custom order. 1" Rainbow Obsidian 1" Crazy Lace 1" Maury Mountain Moss 1" Rainbow Fluorite, this stuff was a big pain in the bottom Tim
