I bought a whole bunch of used equipment and went this weekend to haul it home. My Father in Law met me there Saturday morning and we loaded his pickup and horse trailer with lots of equipment and then he headed for home. I stayed and finished loading my pickup and my trailer with the rest of the equipment and then left this morning for home, I just got home and only got a few pictures of my pickup and trailer from yesterday. Some nice flat laps and some saws and grinders The pile on the trailer, lots of saws, tumblers and grinders. We also stopped on the way home and got some more Biggs from an old acquaintence, I will post some pics tomorrow of the Biggs and of the other pickup and trailer. Have a great day...............Tony

I think, just maybe, you could have put a wee it more in the ruck, eh! Good haul, you must have the best inventory of used lapidary equipment in the country. Woody

Tony - man, that's a whole double load!
After you have a chance to unload and inspect and inventory everything, I'd like to know if you have a reasonably-priced old flat lap of moderate size (8" - 14", to help keep the cost of pans and such down) with some good life left in it. I'd even be interested in one without a motor that could be belt-powered, since I have a really good 1/3hp motor that's not in use for anything right now.

Hey Tom, I see a couple of good old H.P Vibro-Laps in there. May be a little larger than what you're looking for though. Can't beat those old H.P.'s.

Awesome. Looks like you brought home rock equipment like other bring home rocks. For some reason I have this image of you looking around in a wash and you pulling a HP saw out of the bushes!
I am also looking for a smaller vibrating lap. If there's one burried in there I am very interested! Steve

Boy Tony, sure wish I lived near you. I could sure use a saw, or a grinder or a lap or, well just anything. That is an awesome haul. It looks like a challenger just unloading that trailer and truck. Have fun and make it real profitable.

Shipping to Canada is very expensive. It keeps me from buying and selling alot. Where are you from?

I can ship to Canada, I am shipping one to Canada this week and the shipping cost so far is around $600 with customs charges and freight.
I am going to Quartzsite this year, I will be bringing some of this equipment.
There are some smaller flat laps in there, I will put them aside when we get it all unloaded. Lots of triim saws too, if anyone needs one.
Last weekend I built a new shed to have a place to put all of this stuff under cover. Will take a while to get it all sorted and see what is good and what is parts. Unloaded the pickups yesterday, gonna work on the trailers today. Have a great day everyone.............Tony

Hey Dicky, I am sure we can find something for you in there. I got my Father in Law's pickup unloaded, lots of good stuff Still working on the horse trailer, I think I need to build some more shelves. Check out this Ray Tech vibe tumbler, I think it is a 100 pounder, it rode home in my back seat, that smaller tumbler barrel next to it is a 9 pounder. Think it will take me a week or two to get it unloaded and sorted out. Thanks for lookin............Tony

Hey Tony, If you have a good price on a small flat lap, I may be able to talk my husband into a birthday present. Please let me know.
Thanks, Tanya
