Hi all!! I been busy with some not fun distractions, have not made many pieces lately. But, here are some I have managed to get done. Still learning and trying new methods of wrapping. Still playing with the photography too. First up is a set of earrings, Bought the posts from rio, then added the wrap. The stone is some Marfa Plume agate. This is really nice tiger iron I got from kap. It is great material. I'm not happy with my top, but, the wife liked it and claimed it,lol!! Got this from kap also, some very good quality Royal Aztec lace agate. And,finally some purple flourite, the first I have ever worked. Being soft, I have found it to be hard to get a good smooth and shiny finish. Unfortunately, the color does not show too well in the photo. Ok, got to get back to the grind now! Later; Mike

I like the flourite best too. I don't know why. I just do. All the stones and raps are beautiful.

You have some beautiful wraps there and the color in the Flourite is beautiful, don't know how it could be any better. Great job!

Mike, I think you did a great job on all of these but because of the exceptional beauty of that Aztec, I think I would redo the front wire more in the style of the florite cab below it to cover less of the stone up. The bindings and tops are great but that eye on the stone needs to show more because it is a bit mesmerizing. (Just my two cents worth) Great job! Fran

I like how the wire follows the pattern in the tiger iron. Keep up the good work. You guys are giving me some good ideas fro when I actually start wrapping. My wire just arrived today.

Thank you all! Fran, that is a good idea for the Aztec. If it does not sell, then I will do a re-wrap on it to make it similar to the fluorite.
