I was looking thru one of my supply catalogs and I came across owyhee rough for $20 a pound. Yeeha!, I said because I remembered I had these 2 pieces laying out in a flower bed that I threw in there before I knew what I had. I had forgotten about them until I saw it in the catolog. one weighs 8 lbs and the other is 5 lbs The Problem: I don't have a saw big enough to cut them and I don't really want to break them up for fear of ruining some good pattern inside. I've never seen anything like this on RTH or anywhere else. Brief description- light grey/green color with black threads and pyrite looking flecks, and heavy. I didn't make the cut on it Id for me please TY in advance...Gary

Wow. I can't tell what the last one really looks like - is it a translucent light blue? Could be quartz, I guess. I'm sure all 4 of those chunks would go through my saw without much problem - unfortunately, I'm so broke I couldn't afford the end cuts from them!
Love that Owyhee - it's so pretty. And the grey one is interesting - unlike anything I've seen, for sure. Hopefully, Mel will see this and tell you exactly what you have there.

I thought some of the picture jasper was missing from the rock garden , Thought you where from Arizona ? pretty sure thats limestone , looks like a hard one, should polish good . And pyrite is not uncommon in limestone , can`t see the last good enough .

Wow Gary, those are some beautiful stones for a deserving guy. Can't wait to see what you do with them when you find a saw big enough to do something with them. I look forward to seeing the slabs when cut.
