I know I have another necklace already here in the threads, and sorry.....but I just LOVE this one! Course I love green....so...go figure huh? The pendant stone was one of those stones in a boxarocks i got from aunuts, it was just thrown in there with the rest of them, and I re-worked it today.....figured out a little something about getting that glass shine on too... ;D Chain is handmade with copper, Russian jade beads, freshwater Pearls, copper bali beads, pendant is Nephrite Jade, wrapped in copper. Hope you like it.....This is yet another one I am strugglling with pricing....I was told by 1 person 200.00...but I dunno.... Hope you like it, and as always, any advice is greatly appreciated, I really really struggle with the pricing thing. Thanks for lookin' Marie

That stone is just awesome. Were I in the market, 200 seems very reasonable - maybe even low

seriously? ok...well...see i truely struggle with this stuff...Very hard for me to figure out. The polish on this stone was by accident truthfully. It was a domed cab, unfinished in that box. I decided to try and finish it, but i started at the 320 belt...after working all the way through to 600, it still had this cloudy yuckky look to it, and I took extra care to make sure I worked & worked it, but it still looked yucky...so I decided to try hitting it on the 800 belt to see if that helped. The stone still had polish on it when I took it to the 800, stuck it on there, and low & behold it started to shine...what? ok, so we'll do some more.....kept polish pasty on it, and kept it on the wheel, with pressure, no water running on the wheel....and this is what I got...a mirror shine!! I did it to the rest of the cabs I did today too!!! mirrors everywhere!!!

OH...I might add, I do my cabs by hand, have no dop pot to work with, and this sucker got sooooo hot, it literally burned a blister on my hand.....wound up holding it with a towel to finish it, so as not to get burned

That is a beautiful necklace. Looks like royalty should be wearing it. Or someone on a red carpet. I would say $200.00 is fair. Maybe 175.00 if you wanted to make a quicker sale. Depends on how long it took you to make the whole thing.

so you used polish on an 800 wheel with no water? interesting. was it hard wheel or a soft wheel? How did the wheel hold up without water?

Beautiful piece! Your wrapping is elegant and flawless, as always. As a sugestion, I would cut those two longer "antennas" which descend on the cab. That jade is gorgeous and deserves to be seen as much as possible. But this is just my taste.

Very very nice Marie. I think $200.00 is fair, but I really don't know this market very well.

You know me, Marie. Less is more. I agree witrh Adrian, cut those two wires covering the center of the stone. The rest of the necklace is awesome

Beautiful necklace & yes those two long pieces coming down on the stone do look a little out of place on such a beautiful stone. Two hundred is a good place to start. If it doesn't sell you can always come down a little. It is a beautiful combination of colors & textures!

absolutely gorgeous, 200 is a great place to start. This one in copper, your tiger eye in gold fill which should be higher because gold fill is so much more expensive. I don't know the cost of jade but even if you don't count your time the old rule of thumb was 3x the cost of material.
