Here is one I added color wire to the coils. It is just an end piece of OJ. Not a great cab, I just needed something to practice on. The cab is wrapped in 20 gauge copper round with half round bindings. the green is 24G round coiled onto the 20G cage wire. It surprisingly did not take very long to do. the front the side the back what do you think? Amy

Hi Amy, the colors you chose (and work you did) really accent that beautiful cab. Nice work! Jo

Very cool! I also like how the colors work with that stone.

That is beautiful. The colors work well together and with the stone. I think I might be starting to like coiled wire especially with seeing your pieces.

I join the sea of voices complimenting this! When I read the heading, I could not imagine what it would look like, but it is very tasteful and complimentary. I especially like the different colors in the coils.

Thank you everyone. I coiled this by hand. Now I see that there is a coiler on the market made to do this. Has anyone ever tried it? It is actually easy to do it by hand, but the coiler might make the coils more uniform.
