Some of you may remember my post about the thieves that broke into my mom's home (they stole all her jewelry, among other things). Of course, my mom treasured the pieces I made for her, and so have been working on replacing them. I managed to tweak out another stone from remainder of Charoite I had, but it of course wasn't the best part of the original slab. I seached best I could, but couldn't find any similar quality (and color) Charoite. I did, however, find a nice small slab of darker material. Hmmm... I paid too much for it, but it is for mom, so what can ya do? ;-) Here is one from the last of the original slab. Charoite by Mystic Koi, on Flickr And this is from the new material. Charoite by Mystic Koi, on Flickr My mom can choose which one she likes best, or take them both if she wants. Anyway, below is the Willow Creek that was stolen. I managed to get two good quality cabs from the original slab... one for my mom, and the other went to my sister-in-law. The remainder of the slab is more gray like on color. My mom actually liked this one best of all, and so am motivated to make her a new one. Problem is, I can't find any Willow Creek that is nice and white like this. Most that I see is either gray or is stained with iron. If anyone out there has some white Willow Creek, I would be most interested in purchasing or making a trade! Thanks! Really like the willow. They're all fantastic - both the stones and the wraps.

That Chariot is beautiful! Your Mom will love her replacement! I know that none of my willow is that light. Hope you find what you are looking for. Fran

That Charoite is so beautiful! Definitely a fitting replacement. I wish you luck with the search for white willow creek, too.

It is more beautiful than the one which was replaced. WTG, your mom must be happy with such a son.

All I have is a couple of chunks of Howlite. I am not sure what Willow Creek is, as I am new to this. Good luck on your search. By the way, very nice work.
