These have been lying around, getting in the way, for some time now, because they aren't the same shape. Anyway, I finally decided they don't really HAVE to be the same shape, as long as they are the same material and color. they all came off the same slab of banded onyx. I thought about maybe trying to wrap them, but then, they are flat-backed, so I decided to use glue-on bails instead. Yes, I know the bails protrude on the earrings. Trying to decide what to do with them. Thanks for looking! Tom

Nice set. The bail of the ear-rings - you could file the excess of it so it won't be visible any more. But there's one more problem with your rings: once hung in the ear lobes, they will show their edge, not their face. I think you need a jump ring between the bail and the hook to correct this. At least this is what it seems from the picture; the jump ring could be thee but I cannot see it.

Looks good Tom. I would do like Adrian said and just file the edges off the bail on the earrings. Ken

Adrian & Ken: Dang it, I knew that there was something weird about it! Thanks. I just forgot to put the jumpring in!
I am going to try filing the bails that show past the edge - but not sure how it'll turn out. The bails are Anraku gold-plated, not gold-filled, so they might come out 2-toned!
Thanks,
Tom
