I asked Mary Ann (stonesthatrock) to send me a box of fist-sized slabbable rocks, just mix them up, my only preference is I loke colors and patterns (who doesn't?). Well, it came today. Prepare to be thunderstruck! And, since my knowledge of lapidary taxonomy is quite lacking, I have no names for any of these. If anyone would care to volunteer names for any, please do so! The box that the poor mailman had to carry to my front door, huffing and puffing! So I washed a few at a time and took pictures as a bunch (including a coffee mug for a visual size reference), then individually to demonstrate the sizes and the outstanding colors and patterns that these rocks promise. Herewith, the first batch, followed by the individuals, the next batch, etc. The next group Another group Yet another group A HUGE slabby cut And a few smaller, tumble-size pieces HUGE Kudos to Ralph and Mary Ann - you've done it again! Thanks for looking, Tom
