I have a friend in Turkey I've been helping offering advice for building her own tumbler - Just curious if anyone knew the factory specs for a Lortone 6 pound tumbler motor. I'm guessing it has to be a 1/20th hp or so?
Thanks much
Jason

I've tried to find the specs on the motor but with no luck. Here's a fairly decent price on a replacement motor. Also I have the entire parts breakdown and service manual for the QT-6 tumbler in PDF format if you want a copy. Just PM or email me and I can drop it on my web library where you can download it.

Label says Universal Electric Co., Mod# AA2P016#, 115v 60cy, .88 amps, 1550 rpm.
Doesn't Turkey use 220-240 Volts?

Thanks guys for the help! Yeah I searched the Net and tried to find the HP rating on the motor as well with no luck. Knowing Lortone they change motors every other day LOL.
This friend of mine in Turkey is just getting idea's to build something from parts and motors she has in country. You are correct Joe - they do use a different power output than we do. I belive they have transformers they can use to ramp up voltage to make the machines we use work - however unsure what the longevity is for them.
