Hi Everyone! I had a lunch date Sunday afternoon that turned out wonderful! Her name is Raven and she is wonderful soul plus a very crafty well organized person. She’s into seashell & rocks and as this pink workshop. I mean everything is pink! Tools, buffer, grinding wheels, vice, ect… After a delightful lunch we drove thru Papago Park. That’s next to the Phoenix Zoo. On one of the buttes back there they have Big Horn Sheep. You view them thru a telescope from the zoo. Well you can also walk around that butte and sometimes your lucky to catch one. I did a year ago. Here’s my photo capture So I was telling Raven we might be able to see some Big Horns. Lo & behold our timing was superb! We show up just as the zookeeper were feeding them. We witnessed about 8 Big Horn descending the butte! Awesome! Raven had her video camera and recorded it all. Unfortunately the video of the Big Horn are blurred due to the camera; plus it a lengthy upload on my slow computer or I would post it. Trust me tho… it was quite a sight and not easily captured! AND There is rock angle to all this. After some other interesting adventures Rave offers to help me clean my outside lapidary area! We stopped at her place & she gets all this shelving, outside light and stuff! We then proceeded to move all the tables, equipment and stuff out my area -- raked reorganized rearranged. This area was in serious need! And the finish product. Thanks Rave! and Thanks to everyone for reading about my first lunch date in long time. Ed

What a great lunch date. By the lighting of the last pic, it looks like it spilled into the evening.
Looks like you both had a lot of fun.

I was looking for something apropos to this subject, and found this below, thought you might like it Ed and maybe even share it with Raven...just a thought... Author Unknown A Simple Thank-You, My Friend Into the dim lit, bare walls of my world, You entered, bringing light and life to me, The vivid colors, painted with a swirl Of wit and charm, of personality, With tender care, you added comfort, warmth, And images that line the now bright walls. I look upon them fondly, bringing forth A thankfulness that you walk in these halls With me; our friendship has become a part Of my world now; it has its special place, Within my being, life, and in my heart, Your name hangs right beside your smiling face. Rememb'ring just how drab these walls had been, I have to thank you for the light, my friend. If you like it, let me know and I'll place it on an ecard with a really nice background, email it to you so you can print it. Should turn out quite nice, just let me know...

Chrome This is my revision Into the dim lit bare walls of my world, You entered, bringing light and life to me girl, The vivid colors, painted with a swirl W/ wit and charm, and seashell pearl !
With tender care, you added comfort, warmth, And images that line my now bright walls. I look upon them fondly &I’ll bring forth A roc’n heart for you; a beautiful doll !
With me; our friendship has become a part Of my world now; it has its special place, Within my being, life, and in my heart, Your name ingrained; right beside your smiling face.!
Remembering just how drab these walls had been, I now have that fine space to begin & thank you for that light, my friend!
Ed If you’d like to do me an email card that would be great! This a shell that Raven hand polished on a beach Its really cool ! If you could use this image (or some other type of seashell) that would be the ticket I know your busy and these projects can turn into quite a task so no fret but I really dig the idea and like the poem ! Thanks Ed
