Cool Chrome I was having a discussion with a client of mine today he was broaching this subject of love & loneliness he’s a usually very reticent man so I told him about Plato’s Symposium Symposium means: drink together It was piece Plato wrote on the subject of love The Greek Philosophers of the time got together to give speeches in praise of love But a promise was made. No drinking this night! One of the speeches in particular was given by Aristophanes’ He recounts the story of the earliest humans. How at that time they were bound together like a ball 2 heads, 4 legs, 4 arms… they’d move by cart wheeling or rolling Love it ! ;D So the gods got jealous of our happiness and split us in two zap! so in order to be complete, to be whole we need to reunite with that missing half well now… that’s a nice myth and great story So my client says to me I bet that what’s behind the 2 parts of your hearts Exactly! I said it’s a marrying of 2 to make a whole roc'nheart well I don’t know if this as anything to do with soul mates or love but to complete the Symposium story all those philosopher ended up sloshed out drunk that night love will do that ya
