Fire Mountain Gems, Rio Grande, Monsterslayer, Thunderbird, just to name a few. I prefer Rio. But at Fire Mtn. you can get beads and tools more resonable than at Rio. Rio is cheaper on gold and silver wire. Ken

I buy from Parawire: www.parawire.com/craftstore.htmlThe 26 gauge round craft wire I use is $2 for 200 ft for most wire types. I don't use square or half hard or anything like that, but Parawire carries it. I'd comparison shop for price with shipping. The main reason I like Parawire over others is because they aren't a retailer. Meaning they sell the wire they make and I don't have to worry as much about batch colors or manufacturer changes. Then again, I go through 300-400 feet of wire per tree, so that might not be a consideration for you. Eileen

I use 21 gauge wire for larger stones and 22 gauge for medium stones. The same gauge for the square and the half round. I have also used 24 gauge wire for really small stones. I get brass wire from www.beadstore.wigjig.com/Brass_Half_Round.html This is the only place I have found half round brass wire. cheap too. Sterling silver from www.monsterslayer.com this is good stuff, good prices, quick delivery, you can order any length you want, and they will give you credit for your scrap trimmings. I have bought copper and silver from www.brandywinejewelrysupply.com with no complaints. I have also bought silver and gold wire from www.firemountaingems.com with no complaints. You can also buy wire from www.Riogrande.com They have reasonable prices. I buy argentium from them.

The nice (and frugal) lady that taught wire wrap where we used to live bought all the wire at Tripps. I've never shopped around buy worth checking there anyway. You might check Indian Jeweler Supply also. Almost everyone I know that fabricates buys their silver there so worth checking.
