my o my!!, Mark you're are certianly an inspiration for me to get back to my wood shop and get busy again. Problem is - to many rocks in the other shop and not enough time, and they're all cryin to be cut open and shined. such a dilemma! Nice compound, wish I hadn't sold mine

Wouldnt it be funny that carrpenters becomes cabbers ... Its really closey related in so many ways ... I never followed through on my carpentry career but this thread took me back for a minute ... Great work there !I remember my first rocking horse in middle school ..And it looks exactly like yours ... ..lol 6 years later the head came off ...lol and we had two dowels sticking up as antlers !!!

Mark, I'd say from these pictures that you are way beyond the classification of "hobbyist" as far as woodworking goes! That's some gorgeous work. I envy folks who have talents like yours.

Awesome furniture Mark. I've dabbled a little, but never got serious with it.

You do some amazing work! My husband loves to work with wood and I love to work with stones. Maybe we will get busy and combine the two on some projects. I know that I cannot go back to using a regular saw. I would cut my finger off after getting so comfortable with a rock saw! Fran
