Here are some shots of my first batch of obsidian. It was picked up in Colorado. I used my Frankford Arsenal case vibe for these. One week in 120, one week in 500, and one week in cerium oxide. Plastic pellets and ceramic beads were used in every stage with broken glass for filler. I used new pellets for the polish. A teaspoon of borax was used in each stage and no burnishing. I like the shapes from a rotary better, so I think I'll run the rest of my obsidian through it in the first stage. The IDs may be wrong on some. A striped obsidian. Maybe rainbow?Red obsidian.Mahogany obsidianBlack obsidian. It still has a lot of fractures.Green wine bottle glass, used for filler.Clear glass from a broken vase, used as filler.

Other than going longer in the initial phase, they turned out great.
