As I am going through stuff, I found this great bag of Mozarkite (or is it Mozarite?) that Jo sent me in September 2009.
This rock looks cool and I think breaking it up for tumble would end up being a nice batch.
Any input?

But then again .... I did find a piece that looks easy enough for me to slab a few pieces off of.
Again ... input?

I think it was John ( Bueltonrocks) traded me some Mozarkite and it's real gemmy colorful stuff. I haven't tumbled any yet but the slabbed stuff looks very much like Flint Ridge Flint and is very hard and solid. It should work up real well....Mel

I've slabbed and tumbled it. Great stuff to work with. Nice and hard and pretty fracture free in most cases. It technically is a form of chert and is listed as semi rare. It makes for some intereesting cabs And the rough can be pretty cool too img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/stefanjan/07fallrocks024.jpg

I am so sorry guys! Have not kept up with my own posts.
Boy this Mozarkite looks awesome polished. I started a new batch today in place of my Let Er Rip batch today and would have started the Mozarkite had I checked in here first.
As Always ..... I am also going to be posting new pictures for the various batches new and ongoing.
