I was itching for a flat lap for a few years. Tony (Catmandewe) was nice enough to go shopping for me at quartzite and procure an awesome lap, just the size and price (cheap) I was hoping for! He sent it out to CA after I couldn't make it quartzite this year. It was so nice of him. He also did some personal shopping for me and picked up some of that awesome olympic poppy jasper from Josh. Man, his hospitality made me feel like I was out at Quartzite with all you RTH'ers. Here's that poppy jasper. Cool stuff. Here's the lap. I oiled the motor and got some new balls for it (racquetball ones). It runs like a champ! It's a video of the lap chugging along if you click on it. A big ol thanks goes out to Tony for all his help, and to Josh for the cool poppies. Steve

Awesome score Steve. I like watching that lap working. That olympic poppy is fine looking stuff too!

Thanks for the visual. I would love to get a first hand look at how all this works. Maybe someday.
