I'm polishing up some jewelry that I'm going to put in our case at the Tuscon Gem and Mineral Show next week. This is a necklace that I made a number of years ago that involves making a wax model and casting identical multiple segments for the necklace. The pendant was made of a fabricated outer frame. I used a wax pen to make a model for the cast central section. I did this design so that the central area of the pendant flowed from the cast necklace to the fabricated frame. The cab is Montana Agate. Bob

Almost looks like a bison head above the agate. Great stone too.

Bob, everything about that necklace is beautiful! I would have to see what you mean about the wax pen to make the model...I guess I am very visual and the information is more than what I can picture. It sure is a beauty! Fran

Fantastic! I have no idea how you can do that or how much time it must have taken to put together. Tim

Tim, It took many hours to do. By making the necklace segments identical I was able to use a rubber mold and wax injector to make the waxes. I then cast them all at once so this process reduced the time required but it still was quite a task. Bob

Stunning! I can see that one took a lot of time (and skill) to do. I hope you post a picture of your case in Tucson. Garry
