Dilemma time! This heart is going to client of mine for Valentines. But I got my pre-drilled hole off in the cleavage. My groove is off ! So I can’t insert screw type eyelet. I don’t want to glue a bale on the back. Two wires confuse me. But a wire wrap is all I can come up with. Too late to drive anywhere and nothing can be sent. Anyone got any other ideas? Ed

Ed, is the hole drilled on an angle? Could you possibly (gently) bend the screw part of the eyelet so it would go in the hole crooked and the eyelet would be straight?
Does that make sense?
Good luck, Nate

I would glue a rhinestone or crystal into the hole. Act like it was there on purpose.

Good luck, Nate That’s possible Nate I’ve done that with many in the past. Sometimes I even have to shorten the stem on the eyelet because the hole was not deep enough for the standard stem. To explain what’s going on before I glue the hearts together I grind a groove in the 2 flats. When the 2 halves are put together I have a predrilled hole. Mostly likely if I tried to drill a hole the heart would separate so the grooving technique was a brainstorm idea. The epoxy is good but trying to drill a hole may be asking too much Altho I’ve never tried, So my heart groove is off. The 2 grooves are not centered |; hence the opening isn’t clean=. It also possible I forgot to do it Perhaps, a thin diamond burr may open it enough A complicated problem is that its real thin heart. Anyway the grooving technique is some thing I need to perfect. If your still with me groovy!
