Nope, I think 'Great job' better describes it!
Flowing lines and smooth joints are well appreciated.
First year huh? She's paying good attention.
Tell Sue to keep up the good work!

Nice work, Sue! I've tried to do a solder instead of wrapped once - destroyed the stone with the torch! Wish I knew a better way - this one is lovely!

Hi Tom,
1 - On this one the frame (outside ) was wrapped and shaped to the stone 2 - the 2 bar's across the front added 3 - Bar across the back (allowing the stone to be put in and taken out) 4 - the Bail added this was a straight piece. 5 - Polished 6 - The stone put in & the last piece added above#4, bent into a bail with the end securing the stone in place,
I have made a few like this I use 1.4 silver squar , Where as Sue used 3mm "D" wire.
the frame is always made first and polished, then the stone added so you do not damage to the stone with heat as you have experianced

Very nice Sue, there is a new book out by Jim Mcintosh where he has taken his wirewrapping techniques to the next level of soldering and such. Google his name and his website should come up. Great first piece. ;D
