Those crappy phone pixs look pretty good to me. Better than my scanner pixs. Anyway you have some beautiful stones in that batch. Love the flash in those BO's but the tumbler seems to eat away at them too much for my taste. Really some beauties in the mix with a nice shine. Tanya

WAY COOL Stefan! Those look nice!
I would have been scared to death to tumble bo. Did you put them in from the very beginning or just the later stages?

Thanks all. Boulder opal can be tumbled if your brave (or in my case foolish). These were just some chips and cut off hunks. I tossed them in at the 120/220 stage. As you can see these really don't have a lot of fire so I really wasn't risking anything special.

WOW, crappy photos look great!! hey how about a pic of one of your BO's stabilized with the superglue. I've got a piece drying right now and I will take before and after photos to post as well.

Ask and ye shall recieve! the one on the left (the more colorful one) was stabilized with crazyglue as was this one THis was a real soft matrix that soaked up almost 1/2 a tube of glue! And this one was pitted pretty bad if I remember correctly
