Thought I'd post a few of the wraps I did during my wrapping demos at the show here. Let me know what you think. Purple saginite in sterling silver (one of Marie's beveled cabs) I was told this was Forest Fire Agate (not forest fire plume) but not exactly sure. Wrapped this one in gold filled wire - yep, I got brave enough to use the gold in a demo. Seraphinite in silver (cab from Mudshark) Turquiose in silver. This one is a cab I bought two years ago at a rock shop outside of Laughlin, NV on my way home from my mom's. I didn't even try to do a coil or a weave, guess I wasn't that brave ;-) Thanks for looking.

OOooOoo those are all very pretty! I love the purple saginite, I need to get a hold of some beveled cabs, so fine!

I like the purple sagenite and the turquoise the best. The swirlies on those two have more artistic flair.

I like the first one. Turquoise one doesn't do anything for me

I really like the second one but I'm partial to gold wire, LOL.

Thanks to you all. The Saginite cab I got from Marie (superioragates) so might check with her since she is doing almost all of hers as beveled edge. I'm not sure I like the beveled edge because it seems to limit the way I wrap the stone. Wires just seem to want to go one way only, could just be me though. Krystee, that Saraphinite is a cab from mudshark, and it is even better looking in person. Barbara, people seemed to like them so guess that's a success ;-) Amy, I am partial to the turquoise for that reason, just seemed to flow better although I'm proud of all of them especially since I did them in front of people for the demo. I was a little nervous especially when the Forest fire cab kept popping out of the wires. GRRR. I hate when that happens.

Those people watching you must have been in awe of what you were doing. That Seraphinite is gorgeous, they are all pretty wonderful but that cab is spectacular.
