and you assume its legal to dig, wright? I know its legal to dig here in my state, I have been doing it for 30 years and will keep on doing it. It was legal to dive for artifacts too, but the state took that away about 6+ years ago. Whats illegal to do is dig on state land, so thats why I have this 1000 acres of privately owned land to dig on. Paleos to historic, bone stone and pottery, midden mounds along the river goodies everywhere

Really cool finds! Is there anything like that down here? donnie, there isnt any rocks down your way it stops here inthe Tampa area. There were ALOT of indian mounds and sites along the river and islans but all those were destroy as the built the kys and south miami up. I have a freind who grew up down your way and found some fantastic artifacts before they were destroyed. When he found where one big burial mound was bulldozed he found 2 gold artifacts made from spanish gold. cool stuff, google the miami circle and you`ll see some of what was in your area.
