I finished rebuilding and painting my old home built lapidary machine tonight. I made a new shaft and replaced the old one, replaced the bearings, installed a new 120 grit diamond wheel, installed a new pulley, cleaned and repainted the unit. This is the first time that I have repainted it and rebuilt the machine since I built it 30 years ago. It is made of stainless steel so the painting is just cosmetic not for corrosion control. I have rode it hard and put it up wet many many times in those years and it has served me well. I'm now ready for another 30 years. Bob

You build your equipment at the same level you make your cabs. High end, that is. Stainless steel, WOW! Built to last indeed! I wish I could see all what this machine "saw".

Nice work Bob! It makes me feel ashamed for wanting to add more expanding drums so that I don't have to change belts... I guess that can wait.

Bob:
God willing, you will outlast the saw, and keep us impressed with with those outrageous 'Bobby' size cabs.
