This is the jewelry I have been making for the past 3-4 years. Currently I am doing it as a hobby, and trying to make it a business. As I have seen people talk about expense on other threads, I'm in the hole about $1300  ! lol. And since I'm still in high school, I have to spend all my birthday and Christmas money on it! First off is probably my greatest to date piece! Wire wrap is very new to me, and this being my first finished wrap, I feel very accomplished!!! This is a Labradorite Drop stone about 54.29mm X 30.22mm in size! Given to me by a good friend at school, and he said he thinks he paid like $50 for it. He went to a huge rock show in AZ a few months ago and brought me a bunch of stones. Someone told me a few of them are opals ! View 1, ;D View 2, Tilt, View 3, No Shimmer, Here is a photo of a chainmail wrapped stone. My teacher has been pushing me to make a business card and told me to use this photo for the background pic. Anyone have input about that? HP 3in1 weave, Chainmail Wrapped. 18swg, Aluminum. View 2, Scale Maille Bracelet. Anodized Aluminum (AA) scales, 18swg Bright Aluminum (BA) rings. View 2, over view, And here is my flickr acc, from where these photos can be found; www.flickr.com/photos/32651730@N05/And my other acc; www.flickr.com/photos/bigtitann_chainmail/Putting photos into post is sooooo time consuming!! I'm tired out for now! Thanks for viewing! ~Colt Chainmail~

Very nice. I would use the second view of the chainmail piece on your business cards. Excellent work on that first one. Hard to believe it is your first wrap. Gorgeous stone too.

Wow, what a variety! And the first is gorgeous, but I think my favorite is the bracelet.

Thank you both greatly! BTW, Anyone have an idea of how much I may sell the lab pendent for? as soon as I showed it to people everyone was fighting over it! although I don't really want to sell this. =) Mainly because it is so beautiful, and its my first wrap! But also because I have been looking all over and cant find anythng like this stone!

Your work is very nice Colt. I really lik ethe chainmail. Nice work on that lab wrap too!
You can search on google for "labradorite wire wrap", and lots of stuff comes up. Hopefully this will help you price that pendant if you decide to sell it.

You did a great job on that wrap. It is nice having such a good friend and it looks like your teacher is whole heartedly supporting you.
I don't know if you have this in your high school, but in my daughter's high school, her art teacher enters some of her work in local arts and craft shows. They don't put the items up for sale but it helps the young artist publisize their name and craft.

Bracelet. ~2nd, Oops weave in 19swg Sterling Silver and yellow Gold-fill. Bracelet. ~3rd, Cross inlay (wall hanging), Anodized Aluminum (AA), and Bright Aluminum. With scales hanging from the bottom. ~4th, The Lab pendent. ~5th, Valentines day heart pendent. made in AA. ~6th, Oops weave earrings, 19swg Sterling Silver. No I don't think my teacher does that. I'm home schooled By the way(charter school), so I have a mentor teacher for all my school work, and then there's classes you can take if you want to. My teacher is into making art though ;D! I plan to enter my stuff in the county fair this year. Also looking into some local shows. ~Colt Chainmail~

Colt, your work is wonderful. I do chain maille as well. I love the feel of the rings after they are put together. I do sell mine but I don't use SS or Filled Gold, generally aluminum and copper so I can sell them at reasonable rates. I wouldn't even take a guess as to a price for the wrap. My son is Chris Perez and you will see some of his work in wire wraps under Chrisperez. Keep up the good work, you have a great talent.
