What do you mean by scales on one side? I carry a liner lock daily, and it has them on both sides. Does it have the clip on the opposite side? Nate

Yes the "scales" are the handles. Knife makers call them scales so I guess I should do the same

This knife has a clip on the other side. It's certainly a different look.

This is the Sting Ray model. Jantz Supply and Custom Knife kits also have some nice looking blades.

All linerlocks I have did have 2 scales. I just have to bend the clip up a little to accomodate the thickness of the scale.
Also, I don't use the ones that the pivot pin has to be drilled out for the screw to be put in. Also don't drill out the lanyard hole. Have broke too many trying to drill them out.
