I custom made this pendant for a customer who wanted something "funky" The pendant is from the same piece of turquoise as the ring I made for this customer, she wanted the stones to match. The picture turned out a little dark but I think you can see how it turned out "funky" front: :side view: : back view is a little dark also: : Thanks for looking

I like it. I guess funky is good. Those side and back shots show what supberb craftsmanship is in this piece! Garry

If I remember correctly I use 20ga 1" wide stock and cut a strip about 6/32 wide. I start the first bend at 4/32 and do not bend it to a 90 stay a little short. then I bend it around a form I made from a plastic toothbrush handle which leaves a small tail to solder on the back. Then I just file the side to my desired shape and attach it to the pendant. for larger pendants I will make the bail larger at the top so the pendant will stay still and not just swing about. It might be a little labor intense but so far I like it best. I haven't found a store bought bail that I like better.

Yup! Beautifully done, scores high on the funky front, and high on the craftsman front. Excellent silverwork, looks neat tidy and secure. Really nice finish. And the cab is superb. The shape rocks! That's funky if ever it was seen! Was the ring a similar funky shape? Great job all round - thanks for sharing it with us too!
Cheers,
Harry.

I like it. What did you use for the bezel?

It is narrow silver bezel material from Rio. If you want I will look up the number. PM me
