Cabbed and polished this turquoise and wrapped it in 18 ga. sterling silver. 9 foot of silver in it. Ouch! Ken

That is truly awesome. Great job and costly with 9' of silver. I think it was worth the cost.

That's beautiful. You did a great job on both the cab and the wrap. That's a lot of wire but looks like you used it well.

Damn Ken, That is a beauty! The way you bend the ends over don't look at all bulky and that is what I get worried about. I do bend ends over sometimes in the bails of my wraps but when I do it, I sometimes foul up and they bend over crooked and to the side. Is there anyway you can show how you bend the ends over. Your technique is probably better than mine.

Lori, I 'guesstimate' the length I need to cut off and take my chain nosed pliers and bend a slight 'hook' on the very end and then take my flat nosed pliers and bend them down, starting in the middle and working out.
Thanks for all the comments. They are really appreciated. Ken

Ken you little tinker - That's Awesome Sir! What a fantastic wrap - really cool stuff, the cab is so bright and vivid, the shiny bright silver accents the colour to perfection. Nice in every way - and a weighty "proper" piece too You are the wrap king Ken! Creative and well thought out. Thanks for sharing your work. I do enjoy seeing it! Cheers, Harry,
