Hey guys, I haven't had much time for posting, but I have been wrapping a little here and there. This first one, I'm not to thrilled with. It's a quartz crystal wrapped in 20 ga red, 18 and 26 ga silver plated copper. I like how the top and the bottom came out, but all together... ... .. and the back... This next wrap in a cab from Don ( jakesrocks ) wrapped in 20 ga red and black, 26 ga silver plated copper, and the frame is 22 ga hard springy stuff ( my mom said it is half hard argentum ). I did another wrap like this ( if you remember ), but I turned the cab 90 degrees this time, and I simplified it by using only one wire for the frame.... The trick was coiling the black wire without scratching off the color. The coil is actually laced to the frame to hold it in place. Also, it was pretty tough coiling the 20 ga around 22 ga, I did scrape off a little color at the top and bottoms of the coils. and the back, oh so simple.... looking ... I have another wrap to show, but it's so rediculous that I'll save it for another post tomorrow...seriously, it's rediculous ;D... Take it easy, Chris

I really like the use of the red and black wire. Both are done very well. Both are very interesting and different.

I see what you mean on the first one. It has some great elements, but doesn't really tie together. The second one is awesome.

I really like the red with the silver! What a cool combo. The 2nd one is mighty fine too Chris! Keep on coilin'!
