It is time to try something a little different. Not that I have mastered cabbing ovals and wrapping them like a master, not by a long shot!! But, I just had to try something a little different. New shape, style. That, plus I haven't done too much stone and wire work lately, just too much going on lately. But, that is life, eh? Anyhow, here they is, two tigereye samples and a lapis one. Hope ya'll enjoy viewing these. Not great, but I am somewhat pleased with these. There will be more !! Ok, I am providing some pics with a little less zoom, because, as was said, it can make a difference in how the piece looks. So, for comparison, here ya go!..... Oh yea, These were wrapped in SS, 21ga DS square, with 22ga HH half round, for reference. Thats' all for now!! Mike

I really love these. It looks like about a 20 gauge wire?? I like the bolder wire look.

The blue one looks real good. So does the tigereye, but do you have a shot not quite so close? I know we all like close-ups, but sometimes a bit of distance gives you a different perspective. Great work.

Very nice pieces... I am particularly enamored with different shapes and perspectives so these ones intrigue me.

OK, I really like them! I love the offset wraps of wire on the tigerseye and the angels on the holding wires accentuate the pattern in the stone. Same with the Lapis. Your wrap really accentuates the softness in that one with the curves in the wire. Great job! Fran

Very nicely done. The shapes and the wraps are great. That tiger eye looks good in that shape although the lapis is my favorite.
