Hello everyone! My Daughter and I, (very english what!),recently took delivery of a lortone 33b plus a whole host of rocks, grits etc,in total 3 full, medium flat rate boxes, from Shawn at the rockshed, the madness gripped me and that was it-my daughter soon followed suit,we are thoroughly hooked even though this is our first go-the first 2 barrels went on today at about midday uk,the main problem i am currently experiencing is that the tumbling noise is sending me to sleep, finding it difficult to type, lol, shall attempt to keep you posted over the coming weeks;although before i pass out completely,i really woulld like to say what a pleasure it has been to find this site and read and see photos of everyones triumphs and mistakes,we look forward to sharing ours with everyone in the future, many many thanks to all. p.s-I have a beach 3lb tumblemaster on the way(ebay steal!)-does anyone one know if it will accept lortone barrels? Thanks again. :nono:

I've been to London a couple times (Navy) ;D Hey, welcome to the boards! A barrel is a barrel, if it fits then it should work just fine.

Sorry folks, Should have said, first run is mainly agate ,a real mix from bahia to eastwhoknowswhere, will run in coarse as advised by the wonderful Shawn from the Rockshed(yes,it's true what people say-truly excellent to deal with-have no doubts!),for at least a couple of coarse runs, and then we fly on, running purely on advice so freely and beautifully given and illustrated by the people on this site-will share when ready to,happy everything evryone.John.

Welcome aboard! That's great that you've got a common hobby. My boys and I enjoy it as well. Looking forward to seeing your tumbles!
