Kingsley does have a kind of odd way of doing things. When I place an order, the form often shows one shipping charge, but when I receive the invoice via e-mail, it will show a cheaper shipping cost. Sometimes it's discounts like the free shipping on grit and sometimes it's because they have a cheaper way of shipping. Whatever, my visa bill always seems to show the cheaper amount.....Mel

just put in an order yesterday to the rock shed. email couple of hours later that the package has been shipped and i use paypal for payment without the creditcard guarantee. but i order regularly from shawn. i did have to order a belt for my thumbler tumbler. ordered a spare also. fortunately my tumbler is running with one of the belts that hold the lid on. they are about the same size. ordered 5# of 120/220 and 5# of 220 graded. i use that in my vibrator before using the 500 and have gotten nice shines doing that. the way to get around there is ok. i can find all the stuff i need even if it is old fashioned. i'm probably old fashioned myself... charlie

Yeah, Kingsley does that I have found. I usually do everything over the phone with them and they are able to adjust the total before hand. from the looks of things, you got some potentially heavy things so 6.50 doesn't sound out of this world. When you start ordering large amounts of grit the shipping gets up there.
Looking back, I wish I would have read this post before the last rock sale in Sac. I could have just brought some grit along. I'd just dip into the grit buckets one the way out the door. Steve

The thing was when I started looking to buy the grit, I didn't want the total cost of the stuff and shipping to go over $40. Yeah, I was thinking about [how I should of asked you about if you had some grit to sell me, days before the sale] while I was driving to it. BTW, thanks for the gesture! ~Colt
