I've never seen this before but I think this is a Laguna Agate and it appears to have Malachite inside it. Any Pros wanna help out? Thanks in advance. steve

Looks like halotrichite or chalcopyrite with that crystal structure, to me. With calcite added. Ken

I have never seen that either, nor heard of it, but that doesn't mean it is not possible. You could try picking off a small piece and putting it in hydrochloric (muriatic acid). If it bubbles that would indicate malachite. Also, if that whitish stuff is indeed calcite and not quartz on the interior of the agate malachite would make sense, since both are carbonates...

looks like malachite, i found some in a Brazilian , near the center of it too .
