I know this is probably lame and being overly cautious but with kids in the house, I don't want to make a noob mistake with their lungs...
Am I supposed to wear a dust mask, gloves and the like when adding grit and polish to my tumbler? I've done a search on here and see a lot of variance on cabbing but I also see a few posts about aluminum oxide and its dangers. I hope this isn't a hobby where I need to change my clothes every time I mess around with the rocks!
Thanks for being patient with my questions!

I don't know how big your tumbler is but it isn't really a worry. None of the polishes are good to inhale but you won't pick up enough on your clothes to worry about.
