Here's a neat piece that was part of a collection i picked up in early August. I have no info on the piece, my best guess is it's ice age era and mammalian flipped there's lots of interesting fragments in the matrix including this.. any thoughts? Thanks for the look!

Nice vertebrae. How heavy are they? Any mineralization?

These are Ice age, Dug from a local gravel pit at a depth of 15 to 20 feet. My guess is that yours are much older than Ice age, as they appear to be fully mineralized. Don

It weighs 2 1/2 pounds and yes it's fully mineralized. Here's a quick shot with a penny for scale I guess it's older than I thought. Any ideas?
