It is DONE!!! Once again wanted to thank the RTH artisans for their work and creative input: Cab - Dan (highplainsdrifter) Silver work - Phil (steelandstone) Gate & Base - Adrian (adrian65) Tony (catmandewe) sliced me that big hunk of spiderweb obsidian for the base. Several other folks helped me with materials that may or may not have made it into the final product, but thanks also to Randy (BikerRandy), Mark (Slabcabber), and others that I'm forgetting. Thanks all for your generosity and collaboration.     Got it put together just in time too. My instructor (6th degree) is moving my black belt promotion up to this Sunday (we were originally targeting November). But a Grand Master (8th degree black belt) from one of the systems I'm studying will be in town for a seminar this weekend. My instructor wants me to receive my black belt from him - way cool! I will be putting up a contest to name this creation in the contest section soon. |

How cool! Glad to have been able to send to you my part of the work just in time for you to have it when need it. What an honor to receive the black belt from such a Master! It came out beautiful, very clean job you did in fixing the gate on the base, no epoxy traces at all. I wasn's as good as you when I cleaned the epoxy in between the upper beam's sandwich. Thank you for trusting me and choosing me to help you with this. Thank also for being so kind and picturing the obsidian slab so nicely  Adrian |
