Hey guys,
I whipped up a couple more pendants using rediculous ammounts of wire. ;D
This first one didn't come out quite as well as I wanted it to. It pretty much looks like my sketch, but something just isn't right. It is 3 dentritic agates all wrapped up in silver plated copper and brass wire. I only have one pic of it right now, but I'll post some more when I take them.
This second one I just made up as I went. I started out weaving 3 garnets in a line. Then I wasn't sure what to do with that. I went through my stones and decided this piece of aquamarine looks good with the garnets, silver, and brass....
... so, I strapped the aqua in there. But now the bottom just didn't look right....
.... I went ahead and made up the bail, to get some wires out of the way, then started going through my stones again. Well, I picked out a little opal cab ( from the traveling rock box, thank you pporky
) that just fit perfectly. I secured that little cab in place and found a place for all the ends and this is what I ended up with...
I like how this little intertwined weave thingy came out ...
Just look at that opal!!!!
