I decided I needed something to display my cabs, for photographs....so this is what I came up with.... Also, My first 3 cabs that I did all by myself! Hubby helped but only to cut the forms for me...I'm still a little skeered of the saw... The last 2 cabs I bought a couple years ago intending to wrap - one of these days Of course, all displayed on the new stand I made hehehe... Cab Display Stand: My first cab - Gary Green: [ 2nd Cab - Sonora Sunset (custom piece for a friend) 3rd Cab - Sonora Sunset (another custom for same friend): Ocean Jasper - large cab just waiting for me to find the time to wire wrap: Pink Crystal Quartz - another just waiting to be wrapped: I had to play with the mid-tones and lighten up the photos on the last 2 to allow more definition on the cabs with the darker background...this is why the copper looks a little lighter... Thanks for looking! Judy

really nice stand and beautiful cabs! I used to be afraid of the saw but now it does not bother me. The only blades I am really careful with are the wicked pro slicers!

All nice cabs, but I really like that Gary Green. And I really, really like the cab stand. Bet you could sell a bunch of those.

Wow Judy I don't know what I like better those beautiful cabs or that beautiful stand. I think that stand would be great to display the cabs that I keep in a display case. Did you make it yourself? BTW how are the pups? Stu

Thanks Krystee! and yes Stu, I made the stand ... gonna make another from silver (copper core) and another out of brass... Don, you read my mind - I'm going to put em up on Etsy and see how they do. I could probably work up a tutorial if anyone here is interested... or maybe trade? They're very sturdy and can hold virtually any size cab or even a small slab... Stu, thanks for asking - the pups are doing great...just got back from the Vet for a mom dog and puppy check up.... Vet says they're huge and for me to go get some baby bottles cuz I'm going to have to start helping Mom in the very near future. They're eyes are starting to open too... hard to believe they're already 11 days old

Judy, I'd be interested in a few stands, but I'll have to send you a M.O. -- I don't use credit cards or Pay Pal.

There you go Judy. You've created a whole new business. No matter which kind of wire you make them out of, those stands are real eye catchers, and will set off prized cabs beautifully.

Dead right, Don. I was thinking that these would make nice stands for some of the specimen pieces I've got sitting in boxes right now. I don't have any way to properly display a lot of the pieces I've picked up over the years. I've seen folks use small pvc pieces, acrylic stands, etc which are all fine. This is the first time I've seen a stand that I really like and stands out nicely! Paul

I really like the cab stand too! Excellent idea. Think I'll add my name to the list of folks that want one!

Very cool!! The cabs look wonderful, as does the stand!! Dont be afraid of the saw, I was too for a long time, but honest, you can put your fingers right on that blade, and not cut yourself. Just mind you keep your fingernails outta the way, it will chew them right off! lol

I received my stands from Judy today, and I must say that they are beautiful. I'll post pics just as soon as I decide which cabs will do them justice. -- Thank you Judy. You have a winner, and a good seller with these.
