Hi all, I'm a total newbie to cabbing. Hoping to gain some skills thru my club but I ran across this older machine at an estate sale and snatched it up. Now...trying to figure out what blade and ??belts I need? It seems to run okay but I want to do whatever's right to get it in good working order. Any input is so appreciated!! Also looking for a manual...hopefully not just pipe dreaming there, lol. thanks a bunch! Lisa Attachments:

It looks similar to a diamond pacific pixie. Are the wheels 4 inch diameter? You should find out who the equipment fix-it guys are in your club and have them take a look at it. It looks like what you need to get started making cabs.

Obvious thing would be to contact Graves. It doesn't look that old. Measure the wheel width and diameter. Most wheels are pretty standard and arbor adapters are available to fit any shaft size. I would make it a four wheel machine to get a little space between the wheels. Unless you cut opals or really small cabs. I would use either 80 or 100, 220, 280-360, and 600.

Try this, www.gravescompany.com/ and contact customer service. Even though they don't make that machine anymore, they should still be able to give you all of the information you need. They may even have an old owners manual laying around.
